Alaska Clinical StudiesAlaska Clinical Research Studies
We currently are not aware of any Alaska clinical research facilities that are conducting drug studies at this time. If you know of any facilities in Alaska that are conducting clinical research studies, please email us so that we can share them with others.
Although there are no known Alaska clinical research study sites at this time, that doesn't mean that you can't participate in clinical research trials. Many people travel to nearby states where there are clinical research facilities to participate in these drug research studies.
In most cases, clinical research studies seek healthy individuals to participate in Phase 0 or 1 clinical studies (these are the studies that pay the most money). These individuals do not have the disease or condition which the drug being tested will eventual treat if found to be safe. These early studies are known as Pharmacokinetics and are done to determine how long it takes the drug to enter and leave the body, record any side effects that may occur and to determine the maximum dosage amounts. In addition, the research trial may also study why a particular drug affects different people in different ways.
Here is a list of the states that have facilities that conduct clinical research trials on a regular basis:
Previous: Alabama Clinical Studies | Next: Arizona Clinical Studies
